The Sporewright game

No accounts

You don't sign up, log in or give us your name or email to play. The game has no online profiles, chat or leaderboards.

Your progress stays on your device

The game saves your progress locally, in the app's private storage on your phone. The save file holds game data only: your Spores and Workshop levels, unlocked tiers and best waves, statistics such as runs and highest hit, your settings, a snapshot of a run in progress, and the time you last played (used to work out offline harvest). We do not receive this file. Deleting the app deletes it, and the in-game "Reset save" option clears it.

Depending on your phone's settings, your operating system may include app data in your device backup (for example iCloud or Google backup). That is handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

No analytics, advertising or tracking

The current version of the game contains no analytics, advertising, attribution or crash-reporting SDKs, and does not send your data to us or to third parties. [VERIFY FOR EACH RELEASE. App stores

You download Sporewright through the App Store or Google Play. Apple and Google process data about your download, purchases and device under their own privacy policies. We may receive aggregated, anonymous statistics from them (such as download counts and crash rates), which do not identify you.

This website

No cookies, no analytics

www.sporewright.com sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served from this site.

Hosting logs

Like any website, our hosting provider ([HOSTING PROVIDER, e.g. Vercel Inc.]) processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These logs are kept for [RETENTION PERIOD] and are not used to identify you.

3D viewer

The interactive 3D spire on the home page loads Google's open-source model-viewer component from the jsDelivr CDN. Your browser connects to jsDelivr (and may fetch decoder files from Google's servers) to do this, which means those services see your IP address. The viewer is not loaded if your browser asks to save data.

Pre-registration

If pre-registration is open and you choose to sign up, we collect the email address and platform you give us, and your consent to be emailed. We use them only to tell you when Sporewright launches. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us or using the unsubscribe link in the email. The sign-up is processed by [FORM / EMAIL PROVIDER] on our behalf, and we delete the list [RETENTION, e.g. within 3 months after launch]. We never sell or share it.

Children

Sporewright is suitable for a general audience. Because the game collects no personal data, children can play it without giving us any information. Pre-registration is intended for people aged [16] or older; if you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the address.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. The only personal data we could hold is a pre-registration email. To use any of these rights, write to hello@sporewright.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the game or on this site before they take effect.
